In the BBT Princess Islands project, our aim was to craft a serene and relaxing environment, providing a getaway from the city’s hustle and bustle. Our focus centered on a modest balcony tucked in the living room’s corner, with the goal of seamlessly integrating it into the interior space. To achieve this, we introduced a distinctive ceiling design and gypsum walls, creating the illusion of the balcony extending into the home. This transformation significantly altered the spatial dynamics within the residence, enriching the view and ambiance from the entrance to the living room.

To enhance the tranquil and summer-inspired atmosphere, we added light curtains at both ends of the balcony framing. This subtle touch not only complements the overall design but also introduces a sense of elegance. Our design principles prioritized natural materials, a soft color palette, well-lit spaces, and clean lines. The deliberate balance between the interior and exterior spaces aims to evoke a feeling of tranquility and a harmonious connection with the natural surroundings.

Throughout the project, the emphasis on natural elements, muted colors, ample lighting, and a straightforward design approach contributes cohesively to the overarching objective of creating an inviting and calming atmosphere. The gypsum walls, as a crucial element, redefine the spatial experience within the residence and facilitate a smooth transition from the entrance to the living room, establishing a brief yet impactful journey with panoramic views. The inclusion of white curtains adds a touch of refinement, aligning seamlessly with the overarching theme of a tranquil summer retreat.
