Gym Rat’s Lab, an upscale boutique gym, occupies a generous 320 square meters in the basement along Tepecik Yolu in Etiler. Welcoming visitors through a lush 90m2 garden adorned with a majestic magnolia tree, the gym’s atmosphere is further enriched by a cafe strategically positioned on the opposite corner, extending the serene outdoor experience. This project seamlessly integrates the brand’s visual identity with interior design, project planning, and supervision, creating a comprehensive and harmonious space.

The cohesive graphic and architectural language thoughtfully reflects the brand identity, emphasizing core concepts like “Motion, Innovation, and Unity.” Departing from conventional norms, the spatial layout revolves around themes of home comfort and a profound sense of belonging, aligning seamlessly with the brand’s ethos. Natural light, intentionally harnessed from a single façade, gently illuminates the space, purposefully tiered to meet specific functional requirements.

Architecturally designed to accommodate three workout methods, the gym prioritizes natural light in areas like the entrance and yoga space. Simultaneously, spaces like the “Climber Room,” independent of daylight, find their place away from the façade. Bridging these areas, the functionally diverse workout zone requiring balanced daylight is strategically placed. Linear circulation paths and reflective surfaces connect the workout areas, ensuring a continuous interplay between the garden view and natural daylight, creating a harmonious and immersive experience throughout the gym. Material and color choices play a crucial role in the gym’s ambiance, balancing the dominant black tones of the brand identity with the inviting warmth of natural oak. This intentional selection creates a visually appealing and immersive environment throughout the Gym Rat’s Lab experience. Linear design elements, precise material transitions, and meticulous junction details contribute to a minimalist and tranquil atmosphere, guiding users towards mindful workouts in a space that harmoniously blends functionality with aesthetic.
